Summary
| This event took place shortly before the end of the Cold War.After successfully completing the Jedi trials on Tython, Barsen'thor had been elevated from Padawan to the rank of full Jedi. However, in the midst of the ceremony, Jedi Master Yuon Par suddenly fell ill. When Par was taken for treatment, Qyzen Fess revealed that the woman had been suffering from her illness for a long time, but she had chosen to keep it a secret from everyone. It was decided to send Master Par to the galactic capital of Coruscant, in hopes that Jedi researchers - who were working on excavating the old Jedi Temple that had been ravaged during the Sacking of Coruscant - might find something to cure her. The newly appointed Jedi was then instructed to travel to Coruscant as well in order to oversee Par's treatment.Barsen'thor, accompanied by Fess, departed Tython on a shuttle and traveled to Carrick Station, the headquarters of the Republic fleet, to board a shuttle to Coruscant. Upon arriving at Carrick Station, they decided to travel aboard the transport Esseles instead of the regular shuttle. En route to Coruscant, the transport was attacked by the Imperials, and Barsen'thor, along with Fess and other operatives, repelled the attack and saved the transport from being destroyed.Arriving on Coruscant, the Jedi and Fess traveled to the Senate Building and met with Attros Finn, a Mirialan Jedi researcher who was tending to Yuon Par. The Jedi found Par in an unstable condition, seemingly talking nonsense about someone named Parkanas as well as a mysterious "Dark Man." Finn asked his assistant, Pharen, to escort Master Par to her room. | ||
